Voice

Refers to God's thunderous voice, manifesting His majesty and power beyond human comprehension.

Shadow of Wings

A metaphor for God's protective care, like a mother bird sheltering her young.

Remnant

God preserves a remnant of Israel through famine, embodying remnant theology: God maintains a faithful people to continue His redemptive purposes throughout history.

Spies

Joseph accuses his brothers of being spies to test their character and repentance, showing how God uses affliction to refine and probe human hearts.

Sword, Famine, and Pestilence

A divine triad of judgment pronounced against those who remain in Jerusalem, signaling comprehensive devastation during the siege.

Satan

The adversary or accuser in the heavenly court, who challenges Job's motives and instigates his suffering with divine permission.

Victory/Salvation

Deliverance and triumph granted by God to His people, proceeding from His mighty right arm.
